X700 ATI graphics card. Not supportted by ATI anymore it seems.

Some people appear to be having a bit of luck getting older cards to work by updating drivers. Good luck.
Nah, MrSpaceDragon is being ironic (perhaps). Older hardware not running Eve anymore has been stated a dev blog, so we were warned. If someone can post a link to the hardware requirements for the patch in the patch notes that would be great, I can't find that info.
Walmart offer quality products at a discount price so I am sure MrSD will find what he needs there and yes, it will say on the box. If he has doubts, ask for assistance in store and someone can google it from the office to confirm.
Failing that, Dell will build you a machine, I advise you to forget Alienware, go to the business machines add the bits you want and save +30% of the cost. That glowing **** isn't worth the cash.
ACER can suck my **** <- (poultry of a male persuasion) I'm done with ATI products.
